Alvin Westley Gulley, 88, of Fleming County, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born Jan. 31, 1921, in Fleming County, Mr. Gulley was a retired bus driver for the Fleming County School System.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie Florence Gulley; sons, James Alvin (Lois) Gulley of Georgetown, Jessie Price (Debbie) Gulley of Ashland, and Rocky Dean (Lisa) Gulley of Fleming County; daughter, Diana (Gary) Duncan of Fleming County; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Whisman Gulley; and a sister, Francis Blevins.
Services are 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at Denton-Workman Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Hickerson officiating.
Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery, Wallingford.
Visitation is after 6 p.m., today at Denton-Workman Funeral Home.
