FCHS Student suspended for threatening to kill classmates

A female student, who is senior at Fleming County High School, was suspended early this week for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill other students at the school, according to police.

Robert Orem is investigating the case at this time.

MAY'S LICK -- Richard G. Kilgore, 68, of Flemingsburg died Monday at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He was an electrician and an Army Veteran.

Mr. Kilgore was born in Mason County, Feb. 10, 1942, son of the late Richard S. and Clara Ethel Grisby Kilgore.

Survivors include two daughters, Loura Caffey of Tennessee and Katrina Kilgore of Flemingsburg; a son, Richard S. Kilgore of Tenn; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Edith Swanger of May's Lick; and two brothers, Bill Kilgore of Lawrence, Kan. and John Kilgore of Logansport, Ind.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Denny Kilgore.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday at Kingdom Hall on U.S. 68 Maysville.

FLEMINGSBURG - William Scott O'Brien, 87, of Flemingsburg died Tuesday at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Manning O'Brien.
