Fraser out as FCHS coach

Fleming County High School is searching for a new boys basketball coach.

Brad Fraser was released at the end of the season after finishing 9-18 and 29-53 for his three years at the helm.

Tractor parade draws 120 units

Mr. Romanick

Harold Romanick, 79, of Louisville, passed away on Sun, Feb 22, 2009. He retired from the U. S. Army after 21 years of service, was a teacher for the Jefferson County Schools for 17 years, a member of Shively Masonic Lodge 951, and Ralph Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Bessie McVey Romanick. Survivors include his nephew, Joseph P. Drago; nieces, Eleanor Fitz-Randolph, Barbara Garbinski, and Irene Ellis; and his friend and neighbor, Fronda Schwartz. Funeral services will be 11am Thu, Denton-Workman Funeral Home, 405 South Main Cross Street, Flemingsburg, KY with burial in Owingsville Cemetery, Owingsville, KY. Visitation will be from 3-7pm Wed.
