Charles C. Hunt, 75, of Battle Run died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at the Fleming County Hospital.
He was born in Fleming County, March 21, 1934, to the late Russell D. Hunt and Mary Mitchell Hunt.
He was a longtime cattle trader.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry (Dwayne) Maze of Salt Lick; a son, Charles C. (Melissa) Hunt Jr. of Montrose, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jacob Maze, Cindy Hunt and Melinda Hunt; five great-grandchildren, Kari Dunn, Dillion Dunn, Trey Dunn, Zachary Gilliam and Nathan Reynolds; three sisters, Marguerite Hawkins of Flemingsburg, Emogene (Jay) Bailey of Dayton, Ohio and Janice Flora of Elizaville; and three brothers, J.C. (Mary) Hunt of Gas City, Ind., Jimmy Hunt of Lexington and Harold Hunt.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Freida Kerns and Virginia Stephens; and two brothers, Donald L. (Pop) Hunt and R.D. Hunt.
Services are 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Denton - Workman Funeral Home with pastors James Hickerson and Herbie Stallard officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery at Elizaville.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m., today, April 21, 2009, at the funeral home.

Mr. Burgess
Ray Willard Burgess, 80, of Felicity, Ohio died Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Wayne County to the late Maish Burgess and Lula Bell Burgess.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Grace Smith Burgess.
Mr. Burgess was a self-employed auto body worker.
He is survived by three sons, Dave (Paula) Burgess of Cincinnati, Ron (Diane) Burgess of Plymouth, Mich., and Steve (Heather) Burgess of Lebanon, Ohio; two step-daughters, Nancy (Earl) Becker of Indiana and Jo Ann Suttter of Indiana; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Burgess.
Services are 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel.
There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Maze
Dollie Jane Fultz Carter Maze, age 64, of Colfax Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 20, 2009, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
She was born February 27, 1945, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Earl and Edith Clark Fultz. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Maze; a son, Douglas Carter; a great grandson, Dakota; and two brothers, Donald Fultz and Earl Jr. Fultz.
Dollie is survived by two sons, Richard Carter and Trevia and Calvin Carter, as well as her loving friend and companion, Frank Hunt, all of Hillsboro, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, DeWayne, Clay, Cameron, Mary, Misty, Brent, and Michelle; and three great grandchildren, Dillon, Brittney, and Harlie.
Also surviving are four sisters, Meredith Messer and Larry Burton of Morehead, Kentucky, Patty and Johnny Glover of Morehead, Kentucky, Virginia and Robert Blevins of Soldier, Kentucky, and Joyce Clay of Morehead, Kentucky; three brothers, Buster and Mavis Fultz of Muncie, Indiana, Carl and Jewell Fultz of Soldier, Kentucky, and Dana and Karen Fultz of Enterprise, Kentucky; a very special friend, Johnny Reed of Hillsboro, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Dollie was a homemaker and loved caring for her flowers. She was of the Christian faith.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Kentucky.
Mrs. Gallagher
Mrs. Roberta Ann Abner Gallagher, 73, of Ewing passed away April 18, 2009, on Pea Ridge Mountain.
Roberta was born June 17, 1935, to Harlan and Hazel Howard Dye in Fleming County.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Carrol Highfield, Robert "Jim" Abner and Albert Gallagher; a daughter, Hazel Lee Highfield; three brothers, Harold Dye, Doug Dye and Wincel Dye; and her parents.
Surviving Roberta are eight children, James "Jimmy" and Lynn Highfield of Ewing, Patricia "Patty" and Rick Clark of Ohio, Lena and Homer Cousin of Flemingsburg, Robin "Bobbie" and Jim Page of Wallingford, Johnny Abner and Julie Burton of Ewing, Tinie and Timmy Clark of Ewing, David Abner of Ewing and Mary Lou Abner of Flemingsburg; 26 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m., Wednesday at Price Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Howard officiating.
Burial will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Doyle
Karen Lynn Doyle, age 52, of Flemingsburg passed away Thursday at Fleming County Hospital.
Mrs. Doyle was born in Manchester, Ohio, on July 10, 1956. Her parents were the late Ralph and Deloris Davis Cooley.
Survivors include her husband, Mick Doyle; a son, Wade Doyle of Flemingsburg; two grandsons, Dylan Doyle and Trever Warner, both of Flemingsburg; nine brothers and sisters, Christine Henderson of Manchester, Letha Gardner of Flemingsburg, Glenda Dearing of Maysville, Tammy Farmer of Piketon, Ohio, Lorie Toller of Maysville, Jerri Prye of Flemingsburg, Ralph Cooley of Manchester, Troy Brumley of Manchester, and Kevin Brumley of Piketon; and her step-mother, Doris Cooley.
Services are 1 p.m., Saturday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Watson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.
Visitation is after 11 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watkins
Mrs. Mildred Crawford Watkins, 86, of Cowan passed this life Thursday, April 16, 2009, in the Fleming County Hospital.
Mildred was born in Nicholas County on Jan. 23, 1923, to the late Ed and Pearl Singer Crawford.
She was a devoted member of the Ishmael Chapel Church in Nicholas County. She was a retired employee from Jockey International in Carlisle.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry W. (Bettye) Watkins of Cynthiana, Larry G. (Judy) Watkins of Nicholas County and Jeffery T. (Lecia) Watkins of Fleming County; one daughter, Carol (Alvin) Eckler of Cowan; 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Watkins; and three sons, William "Billy" Watkins, Ronald "Ronnie" Watkins and Dennis R. Watkins.
Services are 2 p.m., Monday at Price Bros. Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Mike Watson and Rev. Gaylord Gillespie officiating.
Burial will be in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, 4 - 9 p.m., at the funeral home in Elizaville.

Mrs. Roseberry
Dorothy E. Roseberry, 80, of Flemingsburg, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2009 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio. Dorothy was born March 26, 1929 in Flemingsburg, to the late George and Jessie Jolley Mitchell.
Dorothy was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary #613. She was a bus driver for Vandalia-Butler, Ohio School District for several years. She enjoyed fishing, making home-cooked meals, canning, gardening with her husband, and most of all spending time with her family. When she was younger Dorothy played the guitar in a family church band.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Danny and wife Joy Roseberry of Greenville and Kevin Roseberry of Texas; one daughter, Kiela and husband Kris Willetts of New Madison; four brothers, Marvin and wife Beulah Mitchell of Clayton, Ohio, Shirly and wife Earline Mitchell of Dayton, Ohio, Robert and wife Bettie Mitchell of Dayton, and Warner Mitchell of Springboro, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jr. Roseberry; a brother, George Mitchell and two sisters, Francis Vaughan and Charlotte Lawson.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Storch Braund Funeral Home in New Madison. Rev. Eric Fee will officiate.
Visitation noon – 2 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009 in the Elizaville Cemetery, Flemingsburg.
