Waverly Lee Jolley, 69, of the Peck's Ridge community died Friday July 3, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Fleming County, on July 5, 1939, to the late Johnny and Pearlie Wiggins Jolley.
He was survived by his wife of 51 years, Evelyn Adams Jolley of Flemingsburg; two daughters, Vicky (Dennis) Mers of Mason County and Laura (David ) Dwelly of Mason County; four sons, Thomas Jolley of Fleming County, Gary (Tracy) Jolley of Fleming County, Danny Jolley of Fleming County, and John (Peggy) Jolley of Carslisle; four sisters, Eva Duncan of Elizaville, Adalene Sapp of Nicholas County, Patsy Pugh of Flemingsburg, and Joy Mitchell of Ewing; one brother, Roger (Ewilla) Jolley of Flemingsburg; eight grandchildren, Beverly, Alicia, Adam, Kendra, Leo, Brittany, Carter and Victor; and three great grandchildren, Tanner, Trey, and Bradyn.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Dudley, Emery, Riley and Lloyd Jolley.
Services are 1 p.m., Wednesday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother Clay C. Miller Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home is after 6 p.m., Tuesday.
