Panthers win 66-54 over St. Patrick

In their opening-round game of the 2nd annual Covered Bridge Classic at Fleming County High School, the Panthers earned a 66-54 win over St. Patrick.
The Panthers will play Williamstown tonight at 7.

Mr. Cooper

Forrest Junior Cooper, 74, of Maysville, died Thursday at Fleming County Hospital.
Mr. Cooper was born May 6, 1934, in Mason County to the late Perry and Lula Jefferson Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Story Cooper of Maysville; two children, James (Vicky) Cooper and Vickie (Frank) Rigdon; step-children, Will (Michelle) Jones, Jeffrey (Deanna) Jones, Darrell (Deva) Jones and Darlene Jones; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a special sister-in-law, Mary Ann Cooper.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna May Cooper; and four brothers, Woodrow, Emory, William and Roy Cooper.
Services are 2 p.m., Sunday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Wedonia Cemetery.

Visitation at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is after 6 p.m., today.
