Ingram charged with driving under influence

According to the Maysville Ledger Independent,  a Flemingsburg Police officer was charged with driving under the influence last week.

Officer Chris Ingram was charged with the misdemeanor, Police Chief Randy Sergent confirmed Monday. Sergent believed the issue would be discussed during closed session at Monday night's regularly scheduled city council meeting.

Ingram was charged by the Kentucky State Police after a traffic accident, according to KSP. Details of the accident or arrest were not immediately available Monday.

According to the City of Flemingsburg's Web site, Ingram joined the force as a recruit in May 2008 and graduated the police academy in October of the same year.
