Mr. Hinton

James Marshall Hinton, 85, of Chestnut Cemetery Road, London died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London.

Mr. Hinton was born Monday, April 6, 1925 in Fleming County, son of the late James and Ruby Thompson Hinton.

Mr. Hinton was a brick layer for Morgan and Tile Co. as well as an U.S. Army World War II veteran. He was a prisoner of war in 1943 for five and a half months.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hinton was preceded in death by three brothers, Sam Hinton, Skeeter Hinton and Russell Hinton; and two sisters, Aletha Tumey and Thelma (Tootsie) Burton.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wedonia Cemetery with interment to follow.

Visitation 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Denton-Workman Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown

Larry Neil Brown, 42, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 in Muses Mills.

He was born April 5, 1967 in Fleming County to the late Milford Bill Brown and Barbara Brown. He enjoyed being outdoors and he was at home in the woods.

Survivors include his mother; wife Deandra Brown; sister Deborah K. Brown (Jay Sexton); nieces Brenda (David) Rudd, Melinda (Mike) Steel and Rebecca Hammond; and nephews Billy (Jenny) Hammond, David Brown and Bobby Joe Brown.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, David Kirby Brown; and a sister, Judith Dale Brown.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother Lee Jent officiating. Burial will follow in Hammond Cemetery.

Visitation was Sunday.
