Mr. Moore

MAY’S LICK Claude Moore Jr. “Hop”, 73, formerly of Sardis passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Robertson County Health Care Facility in Mt. Olivet where he was a resident. He was a former employee of the Home Tobacco Warehouse in Maysville and a member of the Sardis Christian Church.

Mr. Moore was born in Sardis on October 20, 1936 son of the late Claude & Goldie Wheeler Moore.

Survivors include a cousin, Donna Burke Molden of Lexington and several caregivers and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday at Palmer Funeral Home in May’s Lick with Bro. Doug Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation Noon until 1 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net

FLEMINGSBURG -- James Joseph Heil Jr., 59, of Paris died Monday morning, Feb. 1, 2010. He was born in Norfolk, VA., May 30, 1950, to the late James Joseph and Alice Modean Callahan Heil Sr. He was a maintenance worker for Community Alternatives, Winchester. He is survived by his wife, Connie Hester Heil of Paris; one daughter, Jessica Lain Heil of Paris; a sister, Brenda Shaw of Paris; five brothers, Chris Baker of Paris, Fred Baker of Lexington, Lonnie Baker of Lexington, Randy Baker of Lexington and Michael Baker of Lexington; and one grandson, Trenton Joseph Barker. Services are 1 p.m., Friday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Redmon officiating. Visitation at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is after 6 p.m., Thursday.
