Mrs. Underwood

Ethel Frances Underwood, 77, of Rucker Street, Flemingsburg died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at the Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
She was formerly employed at the U.S. Shoe Factory in Flemingsburg.
Mrs. Underwood was born in Mason County, April 16, 1932, to the late Russell E. and Myrtle McKee Gulley. She was married to the late Paul Samuel Underwood.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Ray (Charlotte) Underwood and Donnie Lee (Lisa) Underwood, all of Flemingsburg; two sisters, Hazel Fraley of Dayton, Ohio, and Betty Owens of Mason County; four grandchildren, Steven, Justin, Eric and Cindy Underwood; and one great-granddaughter, Jolena Underwood.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Billy Eugene Underwood; a son, Billy Wayne (Shag) Underwood; a sister, Ruby Dampier; and a brother, James Gulley.
Services are 1 p.m., Friday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Hurst will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park.
Visitation at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is after 11 a.m., Friday.
