Mrs. Marshall

Helen Bonnie Marshall, 66, of Simon Kenton Ave., Maysville, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Brown County, Ohio, to the late Marguerite White and Raywood Cobb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scotty Marshall.

She was a retired custodial engineer at East Kentucky Power and employed by Goodwill in Maysville.

She is survived by two sons, Jackie (Judetta) Marshall of Georgetown, and Travis (Crystal) Marshall of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Michelle Wylie of Maysville; two grandchildren, Cayleigh Combs and Colton Pickrell; four good friends, Wayne Brockley, Jim Conley, Charlie (Anita) Simmons and Sue Neal; and a brother, Leonard (Hootie) Cobb of Covington.

She was preceded in death by one son, Leroy Marshall.

Services 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home, Flemingsburg. Rev. Lonnie Blosser will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m., today at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home, Flemingsburg.

Mr. Pollitt

Robert Wayne Pollitt, 66, went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, Feb. 27, 2011, at his home after a long illness.

He was born Aug. 6, 1944, to the late Forest and Mildred Rolph Pollitt.

He was a mechanic for most of his life and he retired from Montgomery Tractor Sales in Mount Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Pollitt in 2009; two brothers, Glen and Larry Pollitt; and his parents.

Survivors include a son, Rodney (April) Pollitt; two daughters, Chrystal (Donnie) Mitchell and Amber (Ben) Gulley; a sister, Wilheminia (Tommy) Whisman; a brother: Jim (Joyce) Pollitt; grandchildren: Sahara Mitchell, Jordan Pollitt, Austin Gulley, Abby Pollitt and Trenity Gulley; and several nieces and nephews

Services are 1 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2011, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m., Wednesday.

Mr. Marshall

Harvey Arnett Marshall, 86, of the Mount Carmel Road, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 in Flemingsburg.

He was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Fleming County, the son of the late Harvey Marshall and Minnie Eckart Marshall.

He was a laborer for Emerson Electric, a farmer, substitute mail carrier for 12 years, and a member of the Mount Carmel Christian Church. He loved his Allis Chalmer tractors, enjoyed mowing and gardening, flea markets, yard sales, and enjoyed traveling with his family, as well as going out to eat.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Hunt Marshall; a daughter, Jeanie (Wayne) Strode of Fleming County; a grandchild, Buffey (James) Rawlings of Fleming County; two great-grandchildren, Maverick and Levi Rawlings of Fleming County; and a sister, Ruby Camron of Rockford, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Services 1 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2011, at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home, Flemingsburg with Steve Singer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at the funeral home.
