Pavement repairs Friday on Interstate 64 in Rowan County

Watch for temporary lane closure 135-136 mile marker

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. – Pavement repairs will reduce eastbound Interstate 64 to one lane Friday, Nov. 13, at Morehead.

Weather permitting, contractors expect to begin resurfacing about 7 a.m. Friday along a one-mile section of I-64 between the 135 and 136 mile markers. Only eastbound traffic will be affected.

Motorists should watch for lane closures and shifts, as well as slower traffic. A 16-foot width restriction will be in force during construction. Wide loads should approach the area with caution.

Motorists are asked to “Drive Smart” in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment at all times.
