Hospital limits visitors

To all our visitors

Due to the current outbreak of the H1N1 Flu Virus and for the safety of YOU and OUR patients,
VISITORS  under the age of 18 are not permitted in any area of the hospital.
Anyone with signs or symptoms of a cold, the flu, or any other communicable disease, should not visit the patient-care areas.

Mr. Bowen

Gayle Blair Bowen, 80, of Deland, Fla., died October 11 at his residence.
Born June 14, 1929, in Nicholas County, Mr. Bowen had been a high school teacher and coach in Nicholas County and Carlisle and at Orangeburg High School.
He was precded in death by his wife, Barbara Foxworthy Bowden, his parents, Sophie and Arnold Bowen, and by a son, Ty Bowen.
He is survived by a daughter, Tara Kicklighter of Fla., a sister, Minerva Sims-Jasper of Alabama, and a grandchild, Ali Kicklighter.
Funeral services are 11 am Thursday at Denton-Workman Funeral Home with Dr. Chris Beckham presiding.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 to 11 am Thursday at the funeral home.
