Mr. Richmond

Billy Wesley Richmond, 69, of Richmond Drive died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Fleming County Hospital.

He was born Sept. 28, 1940, in Fleming County to the late Emma Francis Richmond and Oscar Eugene Richmond.

He was a palletmaker for Greentree Products.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Pugh Richmond; a son, Kermit (Melissa) Richmond of Fleming County;six daughters, Tammy (Ricky) Riley of Fleming County, Reva (Curtis) Light of Floyd County, Donna (Wilford) McCleese of Fleming County, Sheila (Harley) Bowles of Athens, Tenn., Beverly (Gary) Dyer of Fleming County and Cindy Donahue of Bath County; seven brothers, Kenneth Richmond of Fleming County, Jesse Richmond of Bath County, Johnny Richmond of Ohio, Jamie Richmond of Fleming County, Jackie Richmond of Bath County, and Jake Richmond of Bath County; three sisters, Shirley Presley of Bath County, Judy Marshall of Georgetown and Janice Curr of Mount Sterling; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and step-mother, Bertha Little Richmond.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Richmond; a sister, Joetta Richmond; and his brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Maxine Richmond.

Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Eden officiating. Burial in Pea Ridge Cemetery in Wallingford.

Visitation after 6 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
