Mrs. McIntosh

Eunice Staggs McIntosh passed away Jan. 27, 2011, at the age of 94, in the Fleming County Hospital.

Eunice was born in Wallingford on July 28, 1916, the daughter of Early and Artecia Hickerson Staggs.

She was married for 53 years to Ora Dale McIntosh who preceded her in death.

Eunice is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary McIntosh Hughes and Russell Hughes; daughter-in-law, Sara Wilson McIntosh; sister, June Staggs Moore; sister-in-law, Clarice Staggs; grandchildren, Julie Vice Morris and Mark Morris, Angela Hughes Stice and Jim Stice, Natalie Hughes Keller and Eric Keller; great-grandchildren, Justin Morris, Ryann and Ethan Keller and Tyler and Owen Stice, as well as beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, Roy, Estill and Gene Staggs; one sister, Ruth Staggs Thomas; two children, Judy Ruth McIntosh and John Thomas (Buddy) McIntosh; and three grandchildren, Allen Dale McIntosh, Katherine Marie McIntosh and Donald Howard (Howie) Vice.

Eunice was also an honorable Kentucky Colonel.

Visitation will be held at Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville on Sunday, Jan. 30, from 5-8 p.m.

Services are 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at the funeral home.

Mr. Evans

William Lewis "Billie" Evans, 74, of Carlisle, died Jan. 25, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Ewing, July 10, 1936, to the late Ray and Sylvia Browning Evans.

He was a farmer and land owner.

Billie was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jettie Mitchell Evans and a son, Ricky Lynn Evans.

He is survived by one daughter, Patty (Joe) Evans of Carlisle; four sons, Sterling (Mary Ann) Evans, Gary (Bonnie) Evans and Jay (Ramona) Evans, all of Carlisle, and Timmy (Tracey) Evans of Paris; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; six brothers and seven sisters also survive.

Billie was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was respected by all who knew him and will be missed by all.

Services at 1 p.m., Saturday at Price Bros. Funeral Home in Elizaville. Rev. Don Toy will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip, Brad, Clinton, Michael, Brandon and Steven Evans, Jeremy Roberts, Elva Shields and Chris Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters, Alicia Robertson, Becky Cook, Crystal Evans, Amanda, Jennie, Whitney Evans and Lacey Waugh.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
