Mr. Hamilton

Henry Clay Hamilton, 73, well-known farmer and landowner on the Metcalfe Mill Road, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, in the Hospice Care Center at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hamilton was born in Fleming County on Dec. 4, 1936, the son of Virginia Gilvin Hamilton, a resident at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, and the late Henry Campbell Hamilton.

He was a member of the May’s Lick Christian Church.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cole Hamilton; two daughters, Kavin (Holton) Cartmell of Maysville and Jennie Felice of May’s Lick; two sons, Trent Hamilton of New Lexington, Ohio and Kirby (Sandy) Hamilton of Georgetown, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Clay Cartmell, Hayden Hamilton, Felicia Felice, and Blake Conley.

Services for Henry Clay Hamilton will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the graveside at the May’s Lick Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Adamson, Marion Buchanan, Steve Ritchie, Mike Gifford, Dickie Vice, Holton Cartmell and Larry Davis Dodge.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Rd, Maysville, Ky. 41056.

Miss Wilson

Hannah Abigail Wilson, 14, of Mount Gilead Road, Maysville died Saturday afternoon as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident on U.S. 68 near Washington.

She was born in Lexington on June 24, 1995. Her parent are Lucinda Wilson and the late Kevin Shawn Ferguson. Her adoptive parents are Howard D. and Faye Gilbert Wilson of Mason County.

Miss Wilson was a ninth grade student at Mason County High School.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Savannah H. Wilson of Means and Shaya G. Ferguson of Owingsville; one brother, Zachary G. Himes of Paint Lick; paternal grandparents, Paula Clark and Robert Ferguson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Wilbur and Violet Pollitt Gilbert; and paternal great-grandparents, Lamoine and Rhoda Ormes Wilson.

Services will at 1 p.m., Wednesday at the New Life Church of Christ in Flemingsburg with Rev. Darren Fizer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Esham Cemetery in Lewis County.

Visitation is 4 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, at the church.
