Mrs. Graves

Etta Ann Earls Graves, 95, of Flemingsburg died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.

She was a homemaker, a volunteer at Fleming County Senior Citizens and the Fleming County Hospital Gift Shop and a Kentucky Colonel under Gov. Brereton Jones.

Mrs. Graves was born Oct. 7, 1915, in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Marion and Ida Jane Caudill Earls.

She was the widow of Joseph Graves.

Survivors include a son, Roy (Mary) Graves of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Janice (Tommy) Vice of Hillsboro; two sisters, Ruth (Ray) Bovee of Melbourne, Fla., and Effie (Clay) Winters of New Lebanon, Ohio; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde Earls, Delmer Earls, Johnny Earls and Peyton Earls; and three sisters, Lillian Irvin, Bernice Raines and Stella Lyons.

Services are 12:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Denton-Workman Funeral Home with Rev. Sandford Hill and Rev. Avery Earls officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. until services Friday at the funeral home.
