Mr. Bailey

James Bailey, 88, died Sunday morning, June 20, 2010, at the home of his daughter in Versailles.

He was a former resident of Flemingsburg.

He was born on Dec. 19, 1921, in Carlisle to the late Jerry and Ola McIntyre Bailey.

He was a pipe fitter and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by one daughter, Debra Lee Bailey; and one son, Ronald Gene Bailey, both of Versailles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arvilla Scott Bailey; three brothers, Paul, Wilson and Delbert Bailey.

Services at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post No. 5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.

Visitation 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hamilton

Anna Lee Hamilton, 90, of the Golden Living Center in Vanceburg died Sunday, June 20, 2010.

She was born Sept. 4, 1919, to the late Robert Hurst and Vivian James Hurst.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wibern Hamilton.

She is survived by her caretaker, Opal Lewis of Vanceburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Hamilton; two brothers, Chester Garr Hurst, and A.D. Hurst; two sisters, Thelma Dowd and Josephen Emmons.

Services 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Denton-Workman Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Ray officiating.

Burial in the Wallingford Cemetery, Wallingford.

Visitation 10-11 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Miller

Bobby Wayne Miller, 64, of Mount Hope Road, Flemingsburg died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Fleming County Hospital

Mr. Miller was born Oct. 6, 1945, in Fleming County, the son of the late Perry and Mona Moore Miller. He was a self-employed painter in the local area.

Mr. Miller is survived by two sisters, Marie (Tom) Roberts and Jo Ann Barker, both of Fleming County; two nieces, Lorrie Ann Henderson of Fleming County and Erika Nicole (Tom) Ackley of Georgetown, Ohio; two great-nephews, James Perry Henderson and Jeremy Thomas Ackley; and one great-niece, Alania Marie Henderson.

Services 11 a.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Grange City.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
