Mr. Royse

Ralph Lane Royse, 68, of May's Lick, passed this life Nov. 25, 2009 at his residence of an apparent heart attack.
Ralph was the former owner of the Kawaski Sales and Store in May's Lick and an accomplished musician.
Ralph was born in Mason County Jan. 30, 1941 to Gladys Claypoole Royse and the late Leon Royse.
Ralph is survived by his mother and two sons, Danny Royse and Jeff Royse; a step-daughter, Amy Cropper; one brother, Noel (Debbie) Royse of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters, Bonnie (Charles) Edison of Clintonville, Janet Wright of Lexington, Lu Royse (Rhodes) Grannis of Cynthiana; and preceded in death by a sister, Gayle (Bobby) Grannis.

Also surviving is a granddaughter, Jacklyn Cropper; and nieces and nephews, Bill, Angela and Pamela Royse, Dana and Amber Edison, Joshua Wright, Whitney Grannis and Darren Grannis.
Preceding in death is a nephew, Bobby Grannis Jr.
Also surviving are best friends, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Woosley.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ewing Christian Church with Rev. Larry Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at Ewing Christian Church in Elizaville.

Mr. Shrout

Mickey Dale Shrout, 37, of Ewing died Tuesday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Parrish Shrout.
Services 1 p.m. Saturday at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home. Burial in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation after 11 a.m. Saturday.
