FLEMINGSBURG -- Lela Frances Storey, 100, of Parker Road, Hillsboro died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the Fleming County Hospital.
Mrs. Storey was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Storey.
She was born March 6, 1910, in Fleming County to the late Commadore Manning and Lula Manning.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Julian (Bernie) Storey and Carl Day (Penny) Storey, all of Fleming County; four daughters, Ruby Creech of Whitley County, Wanda (Bill) Vise of Fleming County, Treasa Mae (Stan) Gartin of Dayton, Ohio, and Marilyn (Joe Raskay) Peck of New Carlisle, Ohio; three brothers, Stanley Manning of Lexington, Commadore Manning of Aberdeen, Ohio, and Glen Manning of Flemingsburg; one sister, Threasa Jacobs of Lexington; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Manning; and one sister, Gladys Downs.
Services are noon Thursday, March 11, 2010, at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Stan Gartin.
Burial will follow in the Goddard Cemetery.
Visitation 10 a.m. - noon, Thursday at the funeral home.
