Mr. Harris

Paul Edwin Harris, age 58, of Maxey Flats passed away Wednesday.
Mr. Harris was a farmer and a night watchman for Fannin Industries.
He was born in Fleming County on March 13, 1951, the son of Georgia T. Harris of Maxey Flats and the late Omar E. Harris.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pam Marshall Harris; a daughter, Paula (Steven) Martin of Maxey Flats; a son, Arnold (Angie) Harris of Maxey Flats; two step-sons, Marvin Bryan Burton of Bluebank, and Mathew Ryan Burton of Hillsboro; a sister, Kathleen Graves of Mount Sterling; a brother, Bill (Jean) Harris of Maxey Flats; and six grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m., Saturday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother Harley Sexton and Pastor Herbie Stollard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Denton Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Glascock

Cecil King Glascock, 93, of Mount Sterling Road died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Flemingsburg.
He was born Nov. 14, 1915, in Fleming County to the late William Henry Glascock and Mary Betsy Pedicord Glascock.
Mr. Glascock was a farmer and dynamite specialist for Gorman Construction Company for 33 years. He was a member of the Tilton Christian Church since 1937. and was presented with the Kentucky Colonel award under Gov. Ernie Fletcher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Catherine Dillon Glascock.
He is survived by two sons, Charles (Sheri) Glascock and Larry (Rhonda) Glascock of Fleming County; three daughters, Mary Edith (Roy) Graves of Lakeland, Fla., Evelyn Rose (Ora Mac) Harding of Alamosa, Colo. and Carolyn (Clell) Vice of Fleming County; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a very special friend, Calvin Hazelrigg.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Glascock; and four sisters, Louise Ishmael, Betty Crump, Opal Mineer and Hortence Glascock.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009, at the Denton-Workman Funeral Home in Flemingsburg. Pastor James Wilson will officiate.
Burial will follow the service in the Fleming County Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today, April 9, 2009, at the funeral home.
