Mrs. Meyer

Anna Alice Meyer, 89, of Mount Carmel, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Fleming County Hospital.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Meyer was born April 19, 1921, in Lewis County, the daughter of the late Nathaniel (Babe) and Druza Bean Hinton Clary.

She was the widow of Leslie Howard Meyer.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Mackey of Flemingsburg; a daughter-in-law, Geralene Steele of Owingsville; three grandchildren, Rick (Ann) Mackey of Greenup, Robyn (Mike) Heflin of Bardstown, and Randy (Angie) Meyer of Vanceburg; five grandchildren, Jessica (Josh) Bryant of Flemingsburg, Felicia Meyer of Lewis County, Melissa Meyer of Lewis County, Brian Mackey of Louisville and Jacob Mackey of Greenup; six great-grandchildren, Harley and Allison Bryant, Christopher Meyer, Ronna Burns, Aireanna Meyer and Mackenzley Meyer; two nephews, Paul Cropper of Tollesboro and Terry Clary of Cincinnati; a niece, Joy Saunders of May's Lick; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Howard Meyer; a son-in-law, Delbert Mackey; a brother, John Luther Clary; and sisters, Fannie Clary, Lena King and Ellen Cropper.

Services are 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro with Rev. Paul Cropper and Rev. Carl Hall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation is today, Dec, 9, 2010, from 5-8 p.m., at Barbour and Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Foxport Baptist Church.
