Mrs. McRoberts

Ruby Katherine McLean McRoberts, 92, of Cincinnati, formerly of Hillsboro died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at her home.

Born Nov. 24, 1917, in Fleming County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Hunt McLean.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jay McRoberts on May 22, 1971; and one daughter, Betty Lou McRoberts.

She is survived by two sons, Glennis (Claudia) McRoberts of Cincinnati, and Wendel (Jan) Vice of Dawsonville, Ga.; one daughter, Shirley (Bill) Conway of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Jason and Jonathan McRoberts, Robin Heiny, Wayne and R. J. Conway and Tina Couch; and 10 great-grandchildren, Greta and Megan McRoberts, Amber Waymire, Wade Heiny, Stephanie Lormans, Courtney Cordova, Shane, Sarah, Chase and Brody Conway.

Mrs. McRoberts retired from U.S. Shoe in Flemingsburg and was a former cook at the Fleming County Middle School. She was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Cannon officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Conway, Ewell Vice, Wendell Johnson, Jason McRoberts, Wayne Conway, Harry Goldstein, and Jonathan McRoberts.

Visitation is after 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at the Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
