Mrs. Meade

Kimberly Rey Carrigan Meade, 42, departed this earth for her heavenly home on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. She will be reunited in heaven with her beloved daughter, Kimmie Kelly.

Kimberly will forever remain in the hearts of the many children she welcomed to her heart and home with hugs as they attended her KimberCare Nursery and Daycare.

Kimberly was a student at May's Lick Elementary School. She also attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Ga and graduated from Northmont High School in Clayton, Ohio.

She will be remembered as a high-stepping clogging member/instructor of the Dixie Creamers Clogging Team directed by her parents. She was also a member of the Sweet and Sassy Clogging team in Marietta. Kimberly taught clogging for a time at JJ Daniel Middle School in Georgia and participated in the drill team in Cobb County, Ga. She was a cheerleader at May's Lick Elementary School.

Kimberly and her family attended the Englewood United Methodist Church. She was baptized at Seddon United Methodist Church as an infant and was a member there until the time of her death.

Kimberly leaves behind daughters, Cheyenne and Chaelynne Kelly; her husband, Greg Meade; children, Breyden Meade and Chelsie Meade; and grandson, Liam; her parents, Allen and Reynola Carrigan of Englewood, Ohio; sisters, Kristyn and Kamille Carrigan; and niece, Mackenzie Carrigan Blasko. A host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends will mourn the loss of Kimberly.

In addition to her daughter Kimmie, Kimberly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Reynolds and Frances Moreland; her uncle, Jack Moreland; and paternal grandparents, Elmer Thomas and Ida Frances Carrigan.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Seddon United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the May's Lick Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Moreland, Tim Moreland, Reynolds Moreland Jr., John Newsome, Rich Schwalbauch, and Darren Hull.

Visitation noon until time of service at the church.

Denton-Workman Funeral Home is serving the family.

A benefit fund has been set up for her daughters at Huntington Bank in Englewood. Those wishing to contribute may contact the bank directly or Ms. Kristyn Carrigan, fund administrator.

Mrs. Bussell

Geraldine Gray Bussell, 49, of Paris, died Sept. 26, 2010 at her residence.

She was born July 23, 1961 in Ewing, the daughter of the Roy Gray and the late Emma Garr Gray.

Geraldine is survived by her father, Roy Gray; her husband, Eddie Bussell; two children, Rebecca Dawn Bussell Orrand and Kimberly Gail Bussell, both of Paris; seven grandchildren; and eight siblings, Linda and Pat Evans of Paris, Kenny and Carolyn Gray, Barbara Gray, Ronnie Gray, Kennetha and Mike Evans, Richard and Beverly Gray, Jamie Gray, and Crystal Gray, all of Ewing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Garr Gray; and a sister, Martha Gray McIntosh.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at Price Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Gaylord Gillespie officiating. Burial in Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation 6 - 9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Alexander

Virginia Thacker Alexander, 54, of Riddle Road, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital, Mount Sterling. She was born April 17, 1956, in Wabash, Ind. to the late Willie Glen Thacker and Bernice Ruth Dailey.

Virginia was a food service worker in a restaurant.

She is survived by three daughters, Dusky (Jeremy) Ginn, Daphne Robinson and Crystal Thacker; two brothers, Daryl Thacker and Audie Thacker; four sisters, Justina Thacker, Belinda Thacker, Katrina Bales and Angela Chase; and five grandchildren, Alesha, James, Chloe Robinson, Brandon and Heath Ginn. She was preceded in death by twin girls.

Graveside services 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at the Elizaville Cemetery Chapel in Elizaville with Bro. Jim Porter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Thacker Alexander Fund set up by the family at the Flemingsburg Peoples Bank.
