Gary Floyd Thompson, 50, of Muses Mills, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his home.
He was born Oct. 20, 1960, in Greenup, to the late Fred and Ethel Thompson.
He had worked at the shoe factory in Flemingsburg.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Thompson; children, Brandy Thompson Roar of Olive Hill, Cheyenne Thompson, Eric Thompson and Josh Stamper, all of Flemingsburg; grandchildren, Jason, William, Shyianna and Brianna; siblings, Howard Thompson and James Thompson of Cartersville, Ind., Jackie Thompson of Flemingsburg, George, Robert and Glennis Thompson of Muses Mills,
Virgil Thompson of Salt Lick, Wilbur Thompson of Hillsboro, and Sherman Thompson of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jason Thompson; and a sister, Kathrien Toy.
Services are 10 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2011, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Big Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
