Alta Muse Pollitt, 62, of Ewing died Saturday evening at Fleming County Hospital.
Mrs. Pollitt was retired from U.S. Shoe Corporation in Flemingsburg.
She was born in Fleming County on Oct. 7, 1947, to the late Thomas Lee and Mary Planck Muse.
She was a faithful member of the Ewing Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Pollitt; one son, Rodney (April) Pollitt of Fleming County; two daughters, Chrystal (Donnie) Mitchell of Fleming County and Amber (Ben) Gulley of Fleming County; a brother, Jerry Muse of Morehead; four sisters, Pam (David) Hunt of Flemingsburg, Louise (Jason) Moreland of Ewing, Debbie (Tony) Sapp of Ewing, and Nancy (Gilbert) Caldwell of Morehead; and five grandchildren, Sahara Mitchell, Jordon Pollitt, Austin Gulley, Abby Pollitt and Trenity Gulley.
Services for Mrs. Pollitt will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Boldt officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
