Mr. Brewer

Jimmy Brewer, age 74, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 14, 2010, at home with his family by his side.

He was born Jan. 31, 1936, in Fleming County to the late Claude and Jessie Evelyn Brewer.

He was a retired supervisor at Dravo Lime Company and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime farmer, a member of the El Hasa Shrine in Ashland,. and a member of the Masons Fleming Lodge No. 112.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Brewer; a daughter, Melodye (Tom) Galbreath; two grandsons, Brad and Jim Tom Galbreath; a brother, Claudie Brewer; and a sister, Patricia (Fred) Perraut.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mack Brewer; and a sister, Jeannette Brewer Grannis.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m., today, at the funeral home.

Internment will be in Wedonia Cemetery. Military rites will be preformed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post No. 5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.
