Mrs. Nickell

Elizabeth "Liz" Nickell, 78, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1932 in Fleming County to the late Alex and Belle Lee. She lived and worked in Dayton, Ohio as a beautician for most of her life.

She is survived by her husband Jack Nickell.

She is also survived by one daughter, Debbie (Charlie) Bush of Brooksville, Ohio; three sons, David (Vickie) Black, Michael (Debbie) Black and Bill (Tracy) Black, all of Dayton; two sisters, Mary (Kenny) Peck of Dayton and Judy (Mark) Davis of Dalton, Ga.; five brothers, Ronnie (Wanda) Lee and Jace (Jackie) Lee of Eaton, Ohio, Kenny (Sue) Lee and Rick (Wilma) Lee of Flemingsburg and Tom (Terri) Lee of Lexington; a special sister-in-law and friend Eulene Lee; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Roy and Alex Lee; a granddaughter, Ashley Black; two nieces, Janie Jolly and Sharon McDonald; and two nephews, Eddie and Jacob Lee.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Cremation was chosen by Mrs. Nickell and her family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Pioneer Trace Nursing Home or Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
