Mrs. Flack

Margaret Lou Flack, 76, of Ewing, widow of Shirley Flack, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born July 10, 1933 in Rome, Ohio, to the late Albert and Marie Lathem Carver.

She was a former employee of Jockey International and a member of the Happy Hollow Union Church.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond "Doug" (Mattie) Flack, Nick (Debbie) Flack, and Benny Flack, all of Mount Olivet, and Eddie Gene (Nancy) Flack of Owingsville; one daughter, Eva Armstrong (Billy Adams) of Owingsville; a brother, Roy Carver of Ohio; six sisters, Lorene Sexton of Tollesboro, Wanda Nickerson of Augusta, Pauline Barbee of Washington, Brenda Bloomfield of Quincy, Carol McIntosh of Tollesboro, and Janet Morris of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition of her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Flack Back.

Services are 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 8 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Bob Williams officiating.

Burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.

Visitation is after 6 p.m., today at the funeral home.

Miss Jackson

Brenda Jackson, 49, of Flemingsburg, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born on June 18, 1960 in Mason County to the late Geneva Boulden Jackson and Robert Jackson.

She was a manager at the McDonalds Restaurant in Maysville.

She is survived by two daughters, Shameka Jackson of Maysville and Sarah Jackson of Flemingsburg; 18 brothers and sisters, Donnie (Davine) Jackson of Mason County, Patsy Taylor of Flemingsburg, Bonnie (William) Boulden of Mason County, Dorothy (Charles) Jackson of Indianapolis, Ind., Rose Yvonne Marshall of Flemingsburg, Wanda (Randy) Taylor of Flemingsburg, William (Ramona) Jackson of Indianapolis, Linda (Robert) Myrick of Mason County, Edna (Terry) McKee of Flemingsburg, Bobbi (Charlie) Maxwell of Winston-Salem, N.C., Terry (Roberta) Jackson of London, Charles (Brigit) Jackson of Mason County, Phoebe Jackson of Indianapolis, Jon (Michelle) Jackson of Shelbyville, Michael (Amaryllis) Jackson of Indianapolis, Annette Lynn Jackson of Mason County, Anthony (Julie) Jackson of Mason County, Rodney Thomas Jackson of Mason County; 23 nieces and 29 nephews; and a host of aunts and uncles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Taylor and Beverly Ann Jackson.

Services 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at the May's Lick Second Baptist Church with Pastor L. Rodney Bennett officiating.

Burial in May's Lick Cemetery.

Visitation after 6 p.m., today at the church.
