Lula Bell Getz, 83, of Ewing passed Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at her residence in Fairview.
Lula was a devoted member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
Lula was born in Nicholas County, Aug. 11, 1925, to Henry Livingood and Elizabeth Ritchie Livingood.
Eula is survived by two children, Connie Hart and Billy (Patti) Getz of Fairview; grandchildren, George Rickett of Maysville, Melinda Strong of Georgetown, Ky., Dawn Getz (Corey) Simmons of Tumwater, Wash., Pat (Keith) Mount of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Clayton (Elizabeth) Getz of Georgetown; eight great-grandchildren, Mikie Strong, Danielle Strong, Tyler Strong, Drew Simmons, Shelby Simmons, Luke Simmons, Brittany Rickett and Will Rickett; and one great-great-grandchild, Isabella Strong.
Lula is also survived by three brothers, Irvin Livingood, Grover Livingood and Garlet Livingood, and one sister, Myrtle Howard, all of Nicholas County.
Preceding Lula in death were two husbands, William (Bud) Getz and George Everett Fryman; and siblings, Virginia Waughs, Lovell Livingood and J.C. Livingood.

Services are 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Fairview with Rev. Todd Wiley officiating.
Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.
Visitation is 6 until 9 p.m., Wednesday at the church.
Price Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
