The first "Art Under the Stars" event in Flemingsburg last Saturday night drew about 75 people to relax, enjoy the food and drink, and view art from local creators.

Faith Wallingford Kirk, 84, of Louisville, KY, passed this life June 21, 2009 in Louisville.
Faith was born in Fleming County, March 30, 1925 to the late Harry and Jessie Watts Wallingford and was a Management analyst for Blue Grass Army Depot in Lexington, Ky.
Faith is survived by one son, William T. Peters of Louisville; one sister, Dorothy Brown of Flemingsburg; two brothers, Harry Wallingford of Albuquerque, NM, Jay Wallingford of Frankfort, Ky.; five stepchildren, Linda McMillian of Byrdstown, Tenn, Tom Kirk of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Dave Kirk, Mike Kirk and Ken Kirk, all of Lexington.
Three siblings preceded Faith in death, Charles "Watt" Wallingford, Rosella Torres and Nancy Wallingford.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Price Bros Funeral Home in Elizaville are in charge of arrangements
