Mr. Hunt

Rev. Roy Clifton Hunt, 88, of Maysville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born Dec. 24, 1920 in Nicholas County, the son of the late Forest and Etna Hill Hunt.
Rev. Hunt was a lifetime minister and a former school teacher. He was a member of the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church and he had pastored many Methodist churches in central and eastern Kentucky. He was also a graduate of Ewing High School and Asbury College in Wilmore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katheryn Moran Hunt.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Hunt and his wife, Jackie of Lakeside Park, and Mark Hunt and his wife, Tracie of Winchester; one brother, Julian Hunt and his wife, Betty of Ewing; two grandchildren, Erin Hunt and Thomas Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church with Rev. James Gaunce, Rev. Gaylord Gillespie and Rev. Don Riggs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation is after 11 a.m., Saturday at the church.
