Second former UK player facing charges

A second former University of Kentucky basketball player may be facing charges in Fleming County for allegedly selling fraudulent UK basketball tickets, said Flemingsburg Police Chief Randy Sergent.
Sergent said he will present a case against Ed Davender when the grand jury next meets, Nov. 6.
Sergent said Davender sold two season tickets, valued at $748, to Doyle Mobile Homes about four years ago. The partners in the business agreed to purchase the tickets but when they were not delivered did not pursue a criminal case.
The owners of Doyle Mobile Homes came forward after hearing about other charges levied against Davender and Miller. Sergent had advertised for anyone affected by a ticket scam to contact the police department.
