Mrs. Seithers

Opal Gladys Meyer Seithers, 95, of Mount Carmel , died Thursday, July 23, 2010 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born in Lewis County on May 9, 1915, to the late Martin Meyer and Minnie Ackley

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Lee Seithers who died March 3, 1988.

Mrs. Seithers was a member of the Mount Carmel Christian Church in Mount Carmel

She is survived by her children, Norma Truesdell and husband, Floyd of Tollesboro, Kay Boling and Gary of Lexington, Geri Seever and Larry of Saint Lucie, Fla.; six grandchildren, Lora Froehlich (Dietz) of South Lake, Texas, Dennis Truesdell (Janie) of Lexington, Monica Ford ( Danny) of Palm Beach, Fla., Natalilee Seever of Palm Beach, Fla., Denise Alexander ( Mike) of Lexington, and Melissa Cheng (Alfie) of Somerset; eight great-grandchildren, Zachary Froehlich, Alex Froehlich, Matthew Truesdell, Kaylee Truesdell, Brent Angel, Grant Angel, Aiden Cheng and Madelyn Cheng.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ocil Meyer, Ezra Meyer and Carl Meyer.

Services will be Monday, July 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro. Dennis Truesdell will officiate.

Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery , Mount Carmel . Pallbearers will be Floyd Truesdell, Gary Boling, Larry Seever, Matthew Truesdell, Mike Alexander, Alfie Cheng, Diekz Froehlich and Zachary Froehlich.

Visitation was Sunday, July 25, 2010, 5-8 p.m. at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home, Tollesboro.

Mr. Tumey

David Franklin Tumey, 62, of Williamsburg, Ohio passed July 23, 2010, in Manchester, Ohio of an apparent heart attack.

David was born in Flemingsburg Feb. 21, 1948, to the late Arthur William "P.I." Tumey and Alice Hartley Tumey of Ewing. David was a retired farmer and avid NASCAR fan.

David is survived by his mother, Alice Hartley Tumey; his wife, Judy Waldron Tumey of Williamsburg; three children, Angel (Manuel) Hunt of Carlisle, Dwayne Tumey of Cynthiana and David (Jessica) Tumey of Cynthiana; two step-children, Lisa (Joe) Waters and Rob (Tammy) Parks, both of Batavia, Ohio; five grandchildren, Dakota and Dallas Hunt, Austin Tumey, Alex and Katie Tumey; step-grandchildren, Heath, Tiffany and Joey Waters and Jacob and Nicholas Parks; and one great-grandson, Brady Luers.

Also surviving are two brothers, Barry (Joyce) Tumey and William "Bob" Tumey of Fairview; three sisters, Geneva (Estill) Helphinstine of Fairview, Donna (Jeff) Boles of Bethel and Sue Tumey of Fairview; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Price Bros. Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. John Conley officiating. Burial will be in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Wednesday until service time at Price Bros. Funeral Home.
