Mrs. Kitchen

MAY'S LICK -- Mrs. Margaret Kitchen, 81, of Flemingsburg passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9 at Fleming County. She and her late husband of 59 years, Sable E. Kitchen owned and operated Kitchen’s Upholstery Shop in May’s Lick for 35 years. She was a faithful and founding member of Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill.
Mrs. Kitchen was born in Rowan County on Aug. 30, 1927, and was the last surviving sibling of 15 children of Jesse and Lida Ratliff Steagall.
Survivors include five children, Sue (Jerry) Howard of Maysville, Vicki Polley , Rick Kitchen and Linda (Kenny) Handy, all of Flemingsburg and Paul (Sara) Kitchen of Maysville; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren also survive. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sable on April 21, 2003, and a daughter, Teresa "Terri" Linville on Feb. 23, 2008.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday at Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill with Pastor Larry Joe Ruley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m., today at Palmer Funeral Home in May’s Lick and 6-9 p.m., Friday at Mills Branch Apostolic Church.
