Margaret May Gray, 87, of Cowan passed this life Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. Margaret was born in Robertson County May 6, 1922, to Tom and Vertie Adamson.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gray, and is survived by four children, Connie (Paul) Fryman of Nicholas County, Gary (Bonnie) Gray of Fleming County, Donna (Frank) Wagoner of Okeechobee, Fla., Marcia Barker of Cowan, and one deceased daughter Betty Lou Gray. Also surviving are brothers Carlos Adamson of Fleming County and Dean Adamson of Robertson County and sisters Imogene Purcell and Evelyn Jolley of Flemingsburg. Preceding Margaret in death are brothers Howard Adamson, L.C. Adamson, Paul Adamson, Herbert Adamson, and Lester Workman and sisters Adaline Henderson and Marie Litterall. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Price Brothers Funeral Home by Rev. Norman Wasson with burial in Sunset Memorial gardens on Maysville Road. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday at Price Brothers.
