Mr. Evans

Richard Allen Evans, 74, of Muses Mills, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at the residence of his daughter in Richmond, Kentucky.

He was born on April 30, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late Ora and Bertha Verigan Evans.

Mr. Evans was a retired truck driver and a United States Army Veteran.  He enjoyed music and was a well known musician, who played the saxophone.

Survivors include one son, Doug Evans of Muses Mills, Kentucky, two daughters, Pauline Hamilton of Richmond, Kentucky and Jill Drew of Edgewood, Kentucky, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Muse Cemetery in Fleming County with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. 

Pallbearers were grandsons, Doug Gallagher, Mark Hamilton, Michael Hamilton, Bryan Hamilton and Andrew Hilterbrand.  

Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home in Morehead cared for all arrangements.
