Clyde E. Jessee, 77, passed away Friday afternoon Oct. 15, 2010, at Fleming County Hospital.
He was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Fleming County to the late Samuel and Eva Gladys Lewis Jessee.
He was a lifetime farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy E. Jessee.
Mr. Jessee has three sons, Steve (Carol) Jessee of Maysville, Tim (Rae Jean) Jessee of Mount Carmel and Jeff (Deana) Shields of May's Lick; three daughters: Charlotte (Phillip) McCarty of Cynthiana, Gladys Jessee of Flemingsburg and Teresa (Shane) Hester of Mount Carmel.
Grandchildren are Sandra Carol McCarty, Jason Clay Jessee, Breana Lee Jessee, Lyndsey Brooke Hester, Elizabeth Ashley Hester, Joshua Kenton Hester, Emily Taylor Hester, Hannah Marie Shields, Sarah Jean Shields and Brittany Lynn Gillespie
Mr. Jessee has one great-grandchild, Riley Clay Jessee.
Mr. Jessee was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Gayle Jessee; and seven brothers and sisters, Hattie Esther Taylor, Doris Lucille Parker, George W. Jessee, Hannah Jean Jessee, Hord Jessee, Frank Jessee, Henry Jessee Lewis, and Geneva Jessee Layman
Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Mount Carmel Christian Church.
Visitation will be 6 -9 p.m. today at the Mount Carmel Christian Church. Internment will be in Goddard Cemetery.
