Ruby Bocook, 84, passed away Monday evening, Dec. 13, 2010, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 12, 1926, in Fleming County to the late Perry and Stella Pelphrey Smoot.
She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of Blue Bank Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Bocook in 1985; a son, Jacob Bocook Jr.; and two brothers, Hilbreth and Homer Smoot.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Bocook and Sherry Bocook; a son, Mike Bocook; a grandson, David Bocook; and three nephews, James Smoot, Norman Smoot and David Smoot.
Services are 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
