Jackie Ray Adams, 68, of 140 Foster Street in Flemingsburg died Friday, July 3.
Mr. Adams was born August 30, 1940, in Letcher County, Ky., to the late Alphie Mae Holbrook Adams and Elijah Adams. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Edward Adams, Henry Carl Adams, and Billy Warren Adams.
He is survived by a son, Jackie Adams, Jr., of Michigan and a daughter, April (Chad) Fleming of Letcher County and by step-daughters Lori Ballhiess, Colorado, and Vickie Ballheiss, Michigan, and by brothers Floyd (Helen) Adams, Michigan, and Charles (Sue) Adams of Flemingsburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Heath Fleming, Gavin Fleming, Colt Fleming, Dillon Adams, and Seth Daniel, and by a special friend, Yvonne Bentley.
Services will be held Saturday, July 11, at 1 pm in the Flemingsburg Church of God with Bro. Jerry Boling officiating. Visitation is from 11 am until time of service.
Donations may be made to the Flemingsburg First Church of God in Jack’s memory.
