Amber Nicole Choate, 13, of Elizaville, died Nov. 18, 2009, as the result of being hit by a car in front of her home. Amber was a student at Simons Middle School, 8th grade. She was born in Mason County Aug. 25, 1996, to Andrea Thomas and Eddie Choate and is also survived by two brothers, Brandon (Amber Jones) Florence and Joshua (Tiffany Jandro) Florence. Grandparents are Sue Choate and Helen Florence. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Kelly Choate and Scottie Florence.
Visitation for Amber will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the family and 6-9 p.m. in the Simons Middle School. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Simons Middle School with the Rev. Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
