Mr. Doyle (Corrected)

Barbour G. Doyle, 70, of Flemingsburg passed away Saturday at Fleming County Hospital.

Mr. Doyle was the president of By-Pass Mobile Homes, a well-known businessman and developer, and was an avid fisherman. He was a collector of classic cars and a classic car enthusiast.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of VFW Post 1834 and W.N. Fant Post of the American Legion.

He was born in Fleming County Feb. 2, 1939. His parents were the late Henry and Mattie Hickerson Doyle.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Ramona Mitchell; two sons, Jeff (Cara) Doyle and Mark (Marjorie) Doyle, both of Flemingsburg; three sisters, Jewell (Gene) Earlywine, Beulah Armstrong and Delores (James) Dugan, all of Flemingsburg; three brothers, Adrian (Minnie) Doyle and George (Millie) Doyle, both of Flemingsburg, and Dr. Marion Doyle of Nashville; four grandchildren, Hilary Doyle, Haley Doyle, Evan Mitchell and Analiese Mitchell; and step-grandson, Hunter Warner.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Russell, Melvin and Raymond Doyle.

Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Wasson officiating.

Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery.

Visitation at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is after 6 p.m., today.
