Pauline Thomas Strode, 88, of Poplar Grove died Saturday evening at Fleming County Hospital.
Mrs. Strode was the widow of Alvin M. Strode.
She was born in Mason County on March 22, 1921, the daughter of the late Henry Harrison and Eva O'Cull Thomas.
She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Spurlock of Poplar Grove and Bonnie (Bill) Clark of Fleming County; two sons, Eugene (Melva Sue) Strode of Winchester and Wayne (Jeanie) Strode of Flemingsburg; one brother, Donald Thomas of Mason County; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Frances Doyle; two sons, Alvin Lee Strode and Harry Douglas Strode; and three brothers, John, Harry and Charles Thomas.
Services are 1 p.m., Wednesday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. James Hickerson and Bro. Randy Hawkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
