Police respond to domestic incident at FCHS

According to the maysville Ledger Independent, the Flemingsburg Police Department responded to Fleming County High School around 9:15 a.m., Friday after receiving a call about a domestic dispute outside the school between a pregnant 18-year-old female student and her adult boyfriend.
Police Chief Randy Sergent said the student was being driven to school by 20-year-old Jesus Diazes. The couple lived together in Morehead, although she continued to attend FCHS, according to officials.
The student called her parents while on the way to school and told them Diazes was beating her, Sergent said. Diazes and the student arrived at the school about the same time as the girl's parents.
Sergent said school security called police and the school blocked the exits to keep Diazes from leaving until police arrived.

The student alleged Diazes hit her once. There were no visible injuries and she left school grounds with her parents, Sergent said.
Diazes was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and no operators license, Sergent said.
