Mr. Easton

William Eugene Easton, age 72, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

Born August 30, 1937, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Lois Lewman Easton. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Opal Mae Davis Easton, on April 26, 2002; one son, Harlen Davis; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Easton and Gloria June Easton; and one sister, Pearl Ann Logan.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Michelle Frey Easton; five sons, Eddie Easton of Morehead, Kentucky, Allen Easton of Kansas City, Missouri, Danny Easton and wife Linda of Morehead, Kentucky, Mike Easton of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Tony Easton of Morehead, Kentucky; four daughters, Eugena Stacy of Morehead, Kentucky, Gloria Crawford of Clearfield, Kentucky, Clara Thompson and husband John of Newcomerstown, Ohio, and Crystal Easton of Hillsboro, Kentucky; and two step children, Jeffrey Moore of Sarasota, Florida, and Lori Sloan of Salt Lick, Kentucky.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, Miranda Stacy, Beverly Stacy, Brian Stacy, Amanda Crawford, Jeremy Crawford, Rebecca Crawford, Cara Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Chris Easton, Danielle Easton, Allen Easton, Bud Thompson, Billy Lewis, and Patricia Easton; three step grandchildren, Stephanie Eldridge, Samantha Morgan, and Chrissy Sloan; nine great grandchildren, Lexie Ball, Sierra Ball, Brady Goodman, Chase Noah Easton, Marissa Crawford, Dakota Watson, Caden Crawford, Lukas Davis, and Markus Davis; and two brothers, Robert Easton of Morehead, Kentucky, and Marvin Easton of Fleming County, Kentucky.

Eugene was a retired saw mill worker and an employee of Wal-Mart for the past 10 years.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. and Rev. Bill Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Whisman Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Elvis Middleton, Doug Easton, Tim Thompson, Kent Logan, Jeff Logan, Richard Easton, and Kevin Hatton.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
